Hi, my name is Christine Dargon, owner of Emerald Waves Healing & Treasure Chest. I would never have thought to do this, but a friend strongly encouraged me to do a GoFundMe. As many of you know, we have been struggling to get all of our permits in place for our new location 4200 E Zuni Way in Rimrock, AZ.

The county closed us down May 13 because the change of use permits had not been approved even though we had been told that the count would work with us as long as they saw progress. I have had to hire someone to do all of the plot plans the county wants as there is no way a lay person could provide what they want. In addition, I had to pay hundreds of dollars to move a shed even though the county website says the requirement is 3ft between buildings, the county actually requires 5ft.

Being closed, plus these expenses, are really hurting my small business. We are trying so hard to get back open and create a center for the community with activities for all ages. So, I am humbly reaching out for help. The building had sat empty, in part, for over 12 years. It was in quite a state of decay. We are also now, in part, a non-profit as we plan to offer educational services for the youth of our community.

All of our classes our taught by passionate, well-trained professionals. As a studio we especially bring in instructors with open hearts, and mentor each instructor to teach not just to a class as a whole but each individual at their level. All classes are open to all levels. Beginners will be supported, Advanced will be challenged, all will be celebrated.

If you are a senior, de-conditioned, in amazing condition, inexperienced, professional level, pregnant or post postpartum, recovering from physical or spiritual injuries, or have hit a physical or mental wall it is our passion to guide you. Any and all classes that call to your heart you are welcomed to with open arms at the exact level you are at.
